As a traveler for both work and pleasure, the world’s most iconic buildings have always spoken to me. In New York one night, I imagined the Chrysler Building as a kaleidoscopic image, and my City Snowflake project was born.
I came to Morocco with my family to work, but have been endlessly inspired by the color and beauty to be found everywhere I turn.
There is nothing that delights me more than spending time with my camera among the flowers - cherry blossoms in Washington, tulips in the Netherlands, and blue bonnets in Texas - are among my favorites.
Travel has been a part of me since my childhood growing up as an army brat - and since the age of seven, I’ve never been without my camera, trying to capture the beauty I see and to share that wonder with others.
I’ve always loved shooting animals - with my camera of course - and the bug only grew during COVID when we spent so much time outdoors. It started with a cross-country roadtrip with my daughter to explore National Parks and in the past two years, I was lucky to get to Nairobi and to Cape Town for short trips. I long for more.
